Step inside one of Transbuild Commercial’s largest transportable building projects to date.
For Port of Auckland’s Multi Cargo Expansion programme, we delivered two fully fitted-out commercial buildings, creating 427.8m² of office and operational space within one of New Zealand’s most important infrastructure environments.
This walkthrough captures the finished result: practical, high-quality workspaces designed for the demands of a busy operational team, including open-plan office areas, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, amenities and locker rooms.
But the full project story is even bigger.
Both buildings were manufactured off-site at our Drury factory, transported through Auckland at night under oversize pilot es**rt, and craned into position within a live port terminal - a carefully coordinated delivery from design through to final installation.
It’s a proud example of what commercial-scale off-site construction can achieve: programme certainty, quality control, reduced site disruption and fully functional spaces delivered with precision.
