That’s another couple of weeks tucked away since our last social media post.

There are plenty of moving parts for our team at the moment, with several technically challenging projects now in full swing.

Great to get down to Broad Bay yesterday and check in with the team on site.

Great progress being made on the excavation works to repair a displaced joint on an existing stormwater line, alongside preparation works for a new manhole installation.

As expected on a project of this nature, a few technical solutions are being worked through in collaboration with the engineer. This is where our team performs at its best , working through complexity, making informed decisions on the ground, and keeping the outcome front of mind.

The more technically challenging the work, the more it brings out the strength of our team. Working closely with our client to navigate the detail and still deliver a predictable outcome.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks with plenty happening across the board.

First up, a mention to Damo for competing at the CCNZ national excavator competition in Fielding . He didn’t place, but that’s not really the point, he put himself out there, gained some great experience and performed well.

Project updates -

• Blackhead Road is tracking well , the team has kept the pressure on with the 3-lot development and it’s showing in the progress being made.

• Kenmure Foul sewer renewals — the team are doing a great job and executing the plan daily with some great results.

• Prospect Bank Water renewals — The water laterals are moving through the street like a well oiled production line.

As a team we understand it’s an inputs and outputs game. The inputs are on us with our
effort, planning, standards, and holding each other accountable. Get these right and the results will follow.

It surely has been a Dunner stunner today ☀️

Here’s a selection of photos from this week’s activities. Fair play to our team they have delivered some real quality work as always.

We kicked off Friday with our monthly toolbox meeting, followed by Damo receiving his Regional Excavator Competition Trophy.

And we couldn’t resist adding a photo of St Kilda Beach. What an absolute beauty of a beach we are lucky to have here in sunny Dunedin.

We are proud of the team we are building and the value we are adding to our local community.
