Did you know that we renovate kitchens too? 🔨

Here’s one we recently completed in collaboration with the wonderful team at Kitchen Studio Dunedin

One of our favourite things about this reno is how it embraces the home’s original character whilst giving the kitchen an entirely new lease on life. The existing timber island and feature window have been preserved, complemented by crisp white cabinetry and a sage colour palette that freshens and brightens the space without losing its personality ✨

One of the best parts of being a local business is getting to support other local businesses and community spaces that genuinely make Dunedin a better place.

A huge thanks to Liam, Jackie, and the rest of the Bowling Club for the kind words, the trust over the years, and for creating such a special spot for people to gather, eat, connect, and spend time together 💜

We want to give a big shout out to Donovan and the team from Lanark!

Donovan has been around The Bowling Club from the very beginning… in fact he was the one to hook up our gas and water in the food truck!

Donovan & the Lanark team have helped us out during so many of our renovations here at The Bowling Club. Their reliability & suppoet has enabled us to improve our services & to simply keep sharing kai with you all!

We’re lucky to have Donovan & his team supporting us - in practical ways, of course, but also in more abstract ways: like taking the time to understand the mission of our business.

Lately, he has been giving big discounts for jobs at The Bowling Club, which has been a massive help… & just one example of his kindness.

We feel especially moved by Donovan’s generosity because times are not easy - for anyone. To have the help during these times speaks volumes from a fellow small business owner.

I thought I would write this post so we could give back a little & recommend Lanark’s services. They specialise in plumbing, bathroom renovations, gas fitting & electrical work. If you ever need this kind of work, we couldn’t recommend them enough!

Kitchen renovations are always a team effort, so feedback like this means a lot to us 🙌🏼

This project involved rewiring, installing a new switchboard, plumbing work, and helping bring together a brand new kitchen from the ground up - all whilst making sure the process stayed as smooth and stress-free as possible for the client.

We’re incredibly proud of the standard our team brings to every job, but just as importantly, we want clients to feel informed, respected, and comfortable having us in their home throughout the journey.

We’re excited to welcome Jake to the Lanark team as our Gateway placement student 🌟

Jake will be joining us each Wednesday over the next few months to gain hands-on work experience and learn more about the plumbing trade (as well as supporting general tasks across our wide-ranging projects - like the work snapped here). He’ll be working alongside our trusted and experienced team to build skills and confidence on site 💪🏼

At Lanark, we’re proud to support opportunities to help young people explore career pathways and gain real insight into the trades.

If you see Jake out and about on a job, be sure to say hello and give him a warm welcome. He’s in great hands and we’re stoked to have him on board!

Another bathroom renovation completed and handed over to two very happy clients!

This project involved a complete bathroom overhaul - removing all existing fixtures and fittings and installing a fresh, modern layout. The new space features a floating vanity, frameless glass shower, subtle patterned splashback tiles, and updated lighting to create a bright, clean, contemporary finish ✨

A full refresh like this not only improves functionality but completely transforms how the space feels day-to-day.
