The team at OEC are stoked to have played a part in lighting up the future for the Green Island Grizzlies. Seeing Field 3 fully match-ready under lights, alongside the upgraded Field 4 is a fantastic result for players, coaches, and the wider community.

We’re excited to share that, thanks to the amazing support of our Green Island community, our local grant funders, and many generous donors, our brand-new field lights are now up and shining bright — and they look fantastic!
Field 3 is now fully match-ready for night rugby, and along with the upgraded lighting on Field 4, there’s been a big improvement for both senior and junior teams training after dark. No more hunting around for the brightest spot on the field to practise set moves or lineouts!
This long-awaited project truly took a team effort, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it happen, from funders and contractors to our committed volunteers and Junior and Senior committee members.

We are currently in search of skilled NZ-qualified electricians to join our team at OEC, a locally owned electrical contracting company with over 50 years of operation.

We currently have a full-time, permanent position available for a NZ-registered electrician to undertake domestic and commercial work.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hold a current practicing license
Possess a clean full driver's license for a manual vehicle
Have the ability to work unsupervised and organise others
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, effective time management, pride in their work, and a willingness to learn and collaborate as part of a team.
What we offer:
Competitive remuneration package with overtime rates, including a Company Vehicle & Phone. We pride ourselves in being a friendly working environment whilst offering great staff development opportunities.

OEC is a locally owned electrical contracting company, and have been operating for over 40 years.

We have a full time, permanent position available for a NZ registered electrician to join our team. This role is to carry out both domestic and commercial work.

Applicant must:
* be a NZ qualified and registered electrician
* hold a current practicing license
* have a clean full drivers license (manual vehicle)
*ability to work unsupervised and able to organize others
