Our Otago team is hard at work at Burns House in Central Dunedin, delivering two premium office fit-outs on levels 8 and 9 for incoming tenants. 🏗️

Tackling projects at this height brings unique challenges. With a loading platform operating nearly 40 metres above street level (thanks to Bramwell Geeves Scaffolding) and two impressive overnight crane lifts by Titan Cranes New Zealand, NZ, we’ve safely moved demolition material out and brought in over 25 tonnes of building supplies.

The momentum continues as our site team powers ahead with wall framing, services installation, and wall linings. Stay tuned for more updates!

We’re excited to share the latest progress from our Canterbury team’s Northpoint project in Rangiora for Cornershop Developments. This landmark project is centrally located in this vibrant, growing community and will serve as the area’s newest commercial retail hub.

Meet Daniella Pizey, Design Manager at Cook Brothers Construction 👋

We sat down with Daniella to find out what a Design Manager does at a main contractor, and how their work impacts client and project outcomes.

Daniella joined our Canterbury team earlier this year with over 15 years' experience as a registered architect across New Zealand and Canada. Daniella now sits at the heart of our design and construction process, bridging the gap between clients, consultants and our site teams.

She describes her role as "an extra layer of observation over the whole process" helping to reduce risk, improve buildability and keep projects on track from brief to build.

Just like that, our 24-Hour Treadmill Challenge at The Mill Queenstown has wrapped up! Huge thanks to our incredible Trade Partners and the Queenstown team for putting in the hard yards over the past 24 hours. 🎉

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve smashed our $20k goal - all proceeds going to Queenstown’s volunteer fire brigades.

It was awesome have some of our local firefighters from the Arrowtown Volunteer Fire Station in to support our team as we headed into the night.

They generously gave their time to stand with us, just as they do for our community in times of need - and were even keen to jump on the treadmill and get amongst the action! 🚒
