Flooring is down, joinery is going in, and the final electrical work is underway as the interiors begin to take shape. It’s great to see the warmth of the timber finishes coming through both inside and out.

Work is continuing across the home, with new openings, finishes and interior spaces beginning to take shape. A particular highlight is the ensuite, where rich blue tiles wrap the walls and ceiling, creating an immersive finish that is beautifully complemented by the warm brass shower hardware. The skylight above introduces natural light into the space, picking up the variation and texture within the tiles throughout the day.

There’s still plenty happening on site, but we’re loving seeing some of the more considered design details now coming together.

As work continues on this new build, the material palette is truly beginning to define the home's character. The warmth of the timber cladding brings texture and depth to the exterior, while inside, generous glazing and strategically positioned skylights are already showcasing how natural light will shape the experience of each space. It's incredibly rewarding to see the design vision steadily becoming a reality.

Following significant damage caused by a landslip, this project is now entering an exciting new phase. Working within the footprint of the original home, the design introduces a new second storey complete with a master suite and elevated deck, creating opportunities to capture the stunning harbour views while strengthening the home's connection to its surroundings.

It's great to see the framing progressing so quickly, and we're looking forward to watching this transformation continue alongside the team at SB 2 BUILD LTD.
