Today we acknowledge the passing of Barry James Dell, the original founder of our company.

Barry started the business many years ago, and his name has carried on through decades of plumbing work in the community.

While the company has grown and changed over time, the legacy of its beginnings — and the name above the door — remains.

Our thoughts are with Barry’s family and loved ones at this time.

Really sad to see this happening to our local heritage buildings.

Over the past couple of months, brazen thieves have stolen about $50,000 worth of copper downpipes from the historic First Church of Otago, and also targeted Knox Church. Both churches are now having to patch things up with temporary PVC piping while sorting insurance, security, and permanent replacements.

We’ve been working with the team at First Church to help replace what was taken — it’s frustrating to see this kind of theft not only damage beautiful, historic places, but also create real risk to the buildings if rainwater gets inside.

If anyone spots anything suspicious around these sites, please report it to the police. Let’s help protect the special places that mean so much to our community!

Last night we supported Max as he competed in the Dunedin area round of the young plumber of the year competition.

Unfortuanatly he didnt come away with the win, but he did well and was a great learning experience for him.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Roofer to join our busy roofing team, we are looking for someone with great communication skills, Physically fit, comfortable working at heights, honest and good time keeping and must be able to pass a drug test

You will need to be someone who takes pride in their work and have a positive can do attitude
Be customer friendly, and be able to carry out all aspects of the job, have a clean current NZ Drivers license

We value individuals who are willing to pitch in, no matter the size of the job, and who enjoy a collaborative and supportive team work place.
Ongoing industry training and upskilling, full time position and a work vehicle supplied to the right candidate, with competitive remuneration

Having experience in problem solving and a commitment to Health & Safety Practices, would be a good advantage
