Class 5 Driving Opportunities - Permanent & Fixed Term Positions
We are currently seeking motivated, experienced truck drivers to join our current team of skilled and enthusiastic operators to assist with a milk cartage contract and to enable the completion of harvest. If you are a young, keen applicant with a Class 4 licence, a pathway to Class 5 may be provided.
The role will see the successful applicant carting milk and milk products around the South Island and then bales, grain and silage around Mid and South Canterbury. Grape and stock cartage together with fertiliser and bulk driving work is available at the completion of the summer harvest. Applicants will have at least 2 years of relevant experience truck driving in the agricultural industry.
The successful applicants will have a clean driver’s licence, be professional and neatly presented.
Wage range - $28.00 to $38.00/hr, 40hr/week minimum
They must
- be able to work up to 70hrs per week as part of a close-knit team
- be able to work unsupervised to a high standard
- have excellent written & communication skills
- be reliable and punctual
- keep accurate records
- show respect for our equipment, clients and their property
- operate trucks/agricultural machinery confidently on & off-road
- be able to attain a valid NZ work visa
- hold a Class 4/5 licence
