Victoria Domain Redevelopment – Phase 1 Complete!

We’re excited to celebrate the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Victoria Domain Redevelopment – featuring seven new netball courts and a striking new facility building!

The transformation doesn’t stop here – Phase 2 is already underway and includes five additional courts, three of which will be finished with Rebound Ace surfaces.

Civil Assist has been proud to support Architect 44 and Victoria Domain Sports and Recreational Hub from the early design stages through to delivery, providing a full suite of services:

Class 4 Transporter Driver / Drilling Assistant – Gisborne

We're expanding our team at Civil Assist, a locally owned civil, structural, and geotechnical consultancy with a strong presence in Tairāwhiti and growing projects across the North Island. Based in Gisborne, we run modern geotechnical drilling rigs and need a reliable Class 4 driver who’s also keen to get hands-on with our field team.

About the role:
Full-time, Mon–Fri (with overtime + some away work). You'll drive our Class 4 transporter, safely moving drill rigs and equipment to sites, and assist our Lead Driller with site setup, sampling, and testing.

What we’re looking for:

NZ Class 4 licence (WTR a bonus)

Solid driving experience and safety record

Fit, practical and ready to learn

Bonus if you have civil or drilling field experience
