THE EYRIE HOME - Part 1 #

We're excited to be underway on this high-spec home for our clients on Lady Charlton Road.

Designed entirely by the owners, this custom home has been carefully planned to suit their vision and lifestyle, and we're looking forward to bringing it to life.

The floor was poured on 13 May, and the frames are on their way up. We will bring you updates on this one soon as it is already progressing fast!

This new onsite build is officially beginning to take shape — with site container and shed materials now delivered and preparations underway while we move through council.

FROM THIS TO THIS… IN JUST 2 WEEKS 👏

A lot can happen in a short space of time on site — and this one is moving quickly.

This home is heading to a farm and is based on our Kawaka plan, with a few changes to create a larger version to suit the client’s requirements.

Just last week the frames were up, and now building paper is on and it’s really starting to take shape.

This week the purlins are going on, next week the roof, and if all goes to plan the windows will arrive in the first week of June, with cladding to follow shortly after.

WELCOME TO MITCHELL ROAD
Following the intense winds of October 2025, the roof blew right off this property. We spent a HUGE amount of time liaising with insurance to ensure we achieved the best outcome for our clients — and the new roof was finally sorted in February.

Due to further weather damage inside the house, the scope of this project has grown for this dairy farm workers’ accommodation.

We’re now waiting on drawings from the architect, and then we’re excited to begin the next phase of this project. We’ll keep you updated on the progress!

The Kaiwera Transportable.

Designed from the ground up around our client’s needs, this build proved transportable homes don't have to mean “off-the-shelf.” From the custom floor plan to the finer details, every part of this build was tailored specifically for farm accommodation just the way our clients wanted it.

Built here at the Adam Newton Homes yard and then transported to it's new home in the countryside a couple of weeks ago!
