Things are moving along at the WOODLANDS HOME!

The windows are in, the insulation batts are going in today, and the pre-cladding inspection is booked for Thursday.

We’re getting closer to the exciting part — the cladding! We reckon this home is going to look amazing once those exterior finishes start going on.

Four homes, plenty of action! ☀️🏠

It was all go in the yard today, with a beautiful sunny day and progress happening across all four of our transportable homes! 👏

Here’s a quick look at what’s been happening:

🏠 Millers Flat Transportable – Blair was busy unloading the frames and trusses as they arrived today. Things are about to take shape!

🏠 Slope Point Transportable – The boys are busy doing the soffits as this one continues to progress.

🏠 Lowther Transportable – The plumber is on site getting the in-wall plumbing underway before the insulation and wall linings go in.

🏠 Wairio Transportable – The team has been busy taping the RAB board, another step closer to getting this home ready for the next stage.

All four homes are now well underway, and it’s great to see them each progressing in their own way!

The Slope Point Transportable is coming along nicely! 👏🏠

The roof is now on, and the windows are up next, with installation planned over the coming week.

We’ll also be meeting with our clients for a walkthrough so our plumber and electrician can get the in-wall work completed before insulation and wall linings go in.

Another big step closer to turning this one into a home! We’ll keep you posted as things progress. 👀

Introducing the Wairio Transportable! 🏡👏

We’re excited to share another home taking shape in the yard! This wee gem is heading to a farm near Nightcaps.

The Wairio is based on our Kawaka plan with ply linings and a couple of tweaks to make it just right for its new owners — including a larger living area for a bit of extra room to relax. 😊

The floor is complete and the frames arrived this morning, so it will pop up in our yard over the next few days!

A great night out with the team! 🏉

On Friday night, we jumped on the bus in Gore and headed along to the Stags vs Northland game.

While we didn’t quite get the result we were hoping for on the field, it didn’t stop us from having a great night! We enjoyed the hosted tent for the evening, plenty of laughs and some good old-fashioned team bonding.

It’s always nice to get everyone together outside of work, and we reckon there was plenty of team building (and maybe a few stories to take back to work on Monday!) 😄
