As a builder, you need to look out for other trades pre-, during, and post-work. Right now, I've set a solid laser at 800mm up from the ground; this is for our horizontal nogs so the kitchen installer (whether it is myself, another builder, or a joiner) has definite fixing for the cabinetry to be screwed back to after gib and plastering.
