📣It was a BIG news day at Soda HQ for Apprentice James (aka Eeyore) AND this 61 year old Zip hot water cylinder 📣

First to the cylinder……

Installed on 19 October 1965 this classic Libra ♎️ has definitely seen happier days. Safe to say, we’ve been leaking for a wee old while 😞

Over to Apprentice James (aka Eeyore)……

Dave: we need to install a cylinder
James: oh yeah, I’ve seen a few installs, I reckon I can do it.
Dave: alright then, let’s go!!

And go he did!! With a little bit of supervision, this young grasshopper successfully installed his first cylinder.

Congratulations Eeyore 🎉🥳🙌 we are so proud of you! Not only did you put your hand up, but you didn’t hesitate to get suck in. Literally stuck…in all that mud 🫣

Our client can now look forward to mains pressure hot water and a much lower power bill 👏👏👏

We are F I V E 🎉🎂🥳

It started as a covid lock down discussion in 2020 🦠 and has grown to who we are today 🧡Team Soda - Your Mates in Plumbing 💙

It hasn’t been an easy journey, and there have been plenty of “learning opportunities” along the way 🫣 but we could not be prouder of where we’ve landed 🥰

One thing we do know is that we are only as strong as the people who have walked the journey alongside us:

Do you like donkeys? So does James 🫏

We are delighted to introduce you to James aka Eeyore 👋

James has come to us from St John’s College and we are super stoked to have him as part of Team Soda two days per week 🧡💙

A quick study, we love James’ work ethic, willingness to learn and the way he has slotted right into the team. Honestly, this guy has us cracking up all day loooong 😆

His “go to” bakery order is blue V and a pie….those tradie tendencies have kicked in early here 🥧🫣

While we question his choice in NFL teams (Philadelphia Eagles 💚🦅) we are looking forward to making Eeyore a permanent team member in the New Year 🎉

👋 Introducing “Get Out Of There” “Get Off There” “Stop It” “Leave It” ……otherwise known as Abby the Soda Pup 🧡💙

The Team Soda Chief Executive Licker 👅and General Manager of Woofing 🐶

When she’s not asking for treats or barking at the boys, Abby can be found napping….with one eye open. Not because she’s on patrol, but because her right eye doesn’t close all the way 🫣

Speaking of patrol, a professional busy body, Abby loves to be on neighbourhood watch 🚔 letting everyone know what’s what 🫡

Abby has impeccable hearing, she comes running to the cheese wrapper, the microwave or to general kitchen business.

Sadly, her lack of opposable thumbs, poor listening skills and unwillingness to follow direction makes her unsuitable to be on the tools 🧰

Despite these weaknesses, Abby is a popular team member at Soda HQ 🫶

His super friendly and enthusiastic personality means Rhys is an absolute favourite with our clients…..unless it’s 7.30am on a Monday morning 😴
