What an incredible night for the Schick team!
We are incredibly proud to share that Schick Civil Construction took home Category 5 and the Overall Supreme Award at the Civil Contractors New Zealand Waikato Awards last Friday night for our Peacocke Whatukooruru Drive – Stage 3 project.
This recognition reflects the dedication, expertise, and hard work of everyone involved in delivering this outstanding project. From our crews on the ground to our Site Manager, Contract Manager, support staff, engineers, and our trusted subcontractors and suppliers, this achievement belongs to the entire team.
What makes this award even more special is the journey behind it. Schick was proud to deliver the first stage of the Peacocke development, and to now be recognised for delivering the final stage of Whatukooruru Drive marks the culmination of years of work and collaboration with Hamilton City Council helping bring this significant project to life. It's been a privilege to play such an important role in creating the infrastructure that will support Hamilton's future growth for generations to come, and we are honoured to have our team's commitment to quality, innovation, safety, and collaboration recognised in this way.
