We love a good double celebration here at ISS! 👏

Monday’s toolbox meeting was a special one, kicking off the week by recognising two awesome milestones in our Waikato Branch. First up, a huge shoutout to our very own Tony Holster for completing 10 years with ISS 🎉
Tony has been a solid part of our scaffold crews on site over the years, always bringing experience, focus, great communication and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
And yes… we all know he’s a bit camera shy 😄
Big congratulations, Tony, what a milestone!

Next up, our Scaffold Manager Jan Venter stepped up to receive the legendary belt buckle 💪✨ A well-earned nod to dedication and hard mahi 👏 Jan’s consistency, leadership, and the impact he brings to the team are clear for everyone to see. This recognition is truly deserved…

Start Date: Frist week of September 2026

ISS is looking for qualified Riggers and Scaffolders who are keen to step up, bring their experience, and be part of a team that gets the job done right.

Bring your experience, strong work ethic, and safety mindset, and we’ll back you with great rates, a solid team, and plenty of variety in the work.

We’re after:
RIGGERS:
• Current Rigger or Dogman ticket
• Shutdown experience? Big bonus!

SCAFFOLDERS:
• Current Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Bonus if you’ve worked shutdowns before

And you’ll also need:
• Solid experience in scaffolding or rigging
• Strong H&S mind-set – safety is our top priority
• Good time management & clear communication
• Physically fit and ready for long days
• A great attitude and team-first mentality

You must be a NZ citizen/resident and currently residing in NZ and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

Despite the freezing temperatures, relentless rain, and long days, our crews showed up every day and got the job done at our annual Kinleith shutdown project.

A huge shout-out to the team for the hard mahi, dedication, and resilience throughout the shutdown.

The crews across Northland, Kawerau, and Hamilton have been busy over the past few weeks…. from rigging and scaffolding through to engineering work and everything in between.

Big shoutout to the teams for the hard mahi, long hours, and getting the job done safely. 💪
