Hey everyone.
It’s been a while since our last post but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to post about.

As always, the past few months has seen us travel across the Waikato, South Auckland regions and the Coromandel.

We’ve completed multiple overhead to underground jobs, delivered various projects and maintenance work for some of our biggest clients like Downer and Horizon Networks.
And so long as cables go underground, Muscle Contracting will be there to make the repairs when cable faults arise.

There are a few projects in the pipeline and we look forward to show casing them on our socials.

Recently Muscle Contracting completed 2 shutdowns alongside Waipā Networks

Our first site was an OH/UG in Te Awamutu. Due to on going development, Waipā Networks had to remove a power pole and the lines crossing the road and put it underground. Muscle Contracting was tasked with getting the overhead service mains underground and reconnected.

Our second site was in Ōhaupō and due to land being subdivided the underground electrical infrastructure had to change significantly.
A new pillar was installed and one of the residence service mains cable was being re-run from this pillar. We had roughly 240m of 4C 95mm Al cable thrusted by Bayonne Construction from the new pillar to the resident being affected by the restructure.

We broke out the cable and tailed it down to 4x 1C 25mm copper vintols at the pillar end, and cut the existing mains at the customer end and joined it to the new 4C 95mm Al cable.

Both sites we huge successes with everything going to plan, no incidents and the shutdowns finishing early.

We look forward to working alongside Waipā Networks again in the future.

This week Muscle Contracting has completed this streetlight LED upgrade on a private lane (6 streetlights).

We used the Razo S-20 fittings supplied by Felicity Smart Infrastructure.

Great quality finish and looking forward to the next job.
