S K Ruru Construction Limited is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Builder/Carpenter to join our growing team.
We are a Waikato/South Waikato-based construction company completing residential projects throughout the North Island, including renovations, alterations, additions, remedial work and new builds.
⭐️ ABOUT THE ROLE …..
We are looking for a qualified builder who is confident working independently, takes pride in their workmanship and can consistently deliver a high standard of work.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
• A Level 4 NZ Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
• Strong residential building experience
• The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Good knowledge of NZ building practices and standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
• A professional attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work effectively alongside clients, subcontractors and other trades
