Orr Builders are looking for a new apprentice carpenter, or someone further on in their apprenticeship to join our team!
Job responsibilities include:
*working with hand tools, power tools and some heavy machinery
*completing a range of tasks, including - concrete, reinforcing, framing, roofing, cladding, gibbing, finishing lines, landscaping and traffic management
*collection, handling and repurposing/disposal of materials
We undertake a wide variety of work keeping things new, interesting and challenging.
We are an established business based in Hampden, servicing Oamaru through to Waitati.
You need to:
*be willing to learn
*have close attention to detail
*be conscientious
*be reliable and punctual
*follow instructions to ensure an easy and safe working environment
*heavy lifting is required so you must be physically fit and able
