Faulkner Construction Limited Building architectural new homes and renovations in the greater Auckland region since 1981. The ultimate success is delivering this to them.

Faulkner Construction has been in the business of building dream homes for more than 35 years and has earned a reputation for being one of the best. A regular Gold Award winner in Auckland and nationally in the "House of The Year" competition. Faulkner Construction is a family business with a history of success. Ross still gets great satisfaction in taking clients' dream homes from paper to reality. It's not just the physical challenge of the build that Ross enjoys, it's the whole experience. Getting to know people, listening to what they want and don't want, understanding their style of living, and how their family will live out their lives in that home.

Keeping the crew on site. Literally. 👋

There’s a fair bit going on in this shot... plenty of timber, our crew overhead, and those blue safety nets below, there to help keep everyone safe while work happens above.

Because working at height is all part of the job. Falling from it isn’t.

Start them young.

A little Faulkner family throwback... Ross on the tools, with one very small site assistant alongside him.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads, grandads and father figures who’ve taught us how to build, fix, make and muck in along the way.

Heritage character, beautifully brought back to life... then topped off with a little sparkle. ✨

Gotta LOVE the clients’ lighting choice in this recently completed villa revamp. That fitting certainly knows how to make an entrance.

Built in 2012... and still standing the test of time.

The indoor-outdoor flow pulls the pool right into the living space, while that perfectly framed window gives you another little peek from inside the house.

It’s in the meeting of materials.

Crisp limestone. Rich timber. Two very different textures, finished beautifully where they meet.

The kind of detail that looks simple... because it’s been done well.

Usually it’s the light fitting that gets all the attention...

But before the finishing touches take centre stage, we thought the craftsmanship behind them deserved its moment. 👏

A little Love Your Work for the team at McKain Fibrous Plastering, responsible for the beautiful ceiling roses and cornices throughout this villa revamp.

It’s those beautifully executed details that bring the character back... and make the finished space feel like it was always meant to be there.

We’re proud to support the Gateway programme by providing structured work experience placements for secondary school students interested in exploring a career in construction.

There’s only so much you can learn about a trade from the classroom. A supervised placement gives students the opportunity to experience a working construction site, learn alongside experienced builders and gain a better understanding of what a career in the industry actually involves.

For us, it’s an opportunity to support trade education, share industry knowledge and help the next generation make informed decisions about where their future might take them.

Some homes are designed around the view - and this one makes the most of every angle.

Even in the middle of winter, the outdoor living spaces are a reminder of what's to come. The pool is taking shape, the concrete fireplace is well underway, and every evening brings another spectacular sunset over the neighbouring tennis courts.

It's easy to imagine long summer evenings by the fire, sunset swims, and a game of tennis just beyond the boundary.
