Born and bred Southland, Max is one of the new generation doing it all.

Part of the 8-hour, 5-stand lamb shearing world record, Max has built his name through hard work and backing himself. With strong roots—his dad playing 75 games for Southland—competition and discipline run deep.

Outside the shed, he’s just as active. Surfing, motocross, and bringing energy to the industry through his social media—Max is helping push shearing into the next era.

He’s also taken over Darren Forde’s run and recently represented the Cook Islands at the Golden Shears World Championships.

A top shearer, a character, and one of the good guys.
