For those of you interested in solar, the Chinese government has been subsidizing taxes on solar panel and battery exports globally and thats all about to change as they are removing the rebates which means cost increases by the 1st of April on batteries and panels, rumors say 9 to 20% hikes but they could be upwards of 40%!
Cheaper power is now becoming more expensive!! Not great news, but if you were planning on solar then theres no better time than now!!

Woweee what a whirlwind trip to Shanghai for Sigenergy’s opening of their impressive new factory in Nantong, this factory was built in 8months! Sig really laid it on for all their installers with 2000 odd installers from all around the world in attendance. over the last few days, I met lots of great people passionate about renewable energy from all over NZ and the world. Shanghai makes you feel very insignificant its so massive!! The Chinese people were lovely, ate some good and weird foods!

Custom Wagon wheel Chandelier…..whats cooler about this foyer was the door bell, we found one we could add mp3 soundtracks too, bit of Beethoven in an ode to the grand piano, or wilder beast grunts for the taxidermy head on the wall!! Strange requests but If you can imagine it we will make it work!!
