Great to see progress underway on the Churchill Private Hospital extension in Blenheim!

Our Allied Concrete Blenheim team supplied 50.3m³ of 2519 concrete for the foundations of the new extension.

Great to see progress continuing on the Second Ashburton Bridge project.

Our Ashburton team has supplied around 90m³ of concrete for the first two bridge piles so far, with plenty more to come as piling continues across the river.

A great view of this recent pour underway!

Our team supplied concrete for this 1,200 m³ lifestyle house slab, with Hypercon taking care of the pumping and placing on site.

A good day for drying washing? It could also mean a higher risk of plastic shrinkage cracking.

Plastic shrinkage can occur when moisture evaporates from the surface of freshly placed concrete faster than bleed water can replace it.

With spring conditions bringing more warm, dry and windy days, it’s important to consider the conditions before your concrete arrives and have suitable protection and curing measures planned.

Plastic shrinkage cracking can occur at any time of year, so keep an eye on the combination of temperature, wind and humidity.
