Yesterday, we replaced the old ugly fluorescent tubes in a salon with sleek flicker-free LED battens. This gave customers a nicer instant light.

Today, Mac and I were sightseeing through the Clarence on the way to a job installing outlets and lights in a shed or workshop.

This week’s maintenance work has been quite busy. I managed to take a few photos of some of the early-week jobs.

I installed two LED cabinets while supervisor Mac watched the cows graze. I also discovered an oven fault and fixed some external heaters in preparation for winter.

Today’s work involved relocating a metre from a temporary power supply to a new build.

We have successfully connected power to most of the house, pending the completion of a few final tasks to the build.

A Sensor installed to light outside the bedrooms. This will illuminate the passage and bathroom with a night-time ambient light to assist children at night.

Out with old, in with the new.

Replaced a few client supplied wall lights from halogen 40w globes x2 to a 10w led bar light above a mirror.

Original power usage was 80w and now it’s only 10w per fitting, with a CRI of 97 which means less blue light.

The light also had a colour rendering switch so you can swap from 3k warm white to 4K cool white depending on the clients preference

Condensation issues in your bathroom? Had a client recently call me as her shower liner inserts were peeling off the wall due to lack of airflow via her fan. Installed a new quiet high performance inline fan which would not allow the mirror to fog with straight hot water flowing from the shower.
