Once again epic fail didn’t get any before pics which is a shame because this roof was a mess.(just look at the chimney and u can only imagine what the roof looked like) The owner to this house wanted to keep the original flashings to the chimney which we advised to change, but we can only do what the customer wants and in saying that we can’t give a warranty on that side of the roof as we did not install flashings.

This was a quick hitter gable with a change of pitch. I go to a lot of jobs with 2 different pitches already knowing where the leak is before I jump up and it’s always at the change of pitch because back in the day they would lay the top sheet over the bottom sheet which sucks the water up and traps it in there and rusts the sheets.
Solution is a Change of pitch flashing.

My Wife and I done this Job for Metalcraft before we left Auckland.
I’ve had 4 Phones since then and have lost a lot of Photos.
Profile on upper roofs Is Espan which we did a lot of in Auckland for roofs and cladding. A profile you don’t really see in the Far North but is hot on the market in terms of looks in the later style houses.

Kia Ora whanau finally we are back😂😂🤔🤔 I’ve been super busy growing my business and working hard🎣🐟🦞🚤 seriously though if there’s one thing that I need to improve on as a long run roofer & cladder it’s 1. Updating my page and 2. Taking photos before I start the job as I get to mahi and just start going hard, but hey I’m not perfect I can always improve on something cause when it comes to the mahi on the roof it’s on.
But anyway I’m about to blow up your news feed as I have heaps of jobs and pics to upload so every 2 maybe 3 days I’m going to update my page.

So here we go this Job here was a Cladding Job that was brand new that we did for Metalcraft a few months before we moved back to Far North. Profile is MC760 and all the flashings were custom measured.
Colour Ironsand and sandstone grey.
