Hi fellow Waitarereans - just a short note to let you know I am available for urgent call outs (ie, blown fuses or circuit breakers, no hot water, faulty switches or powerpoints, etc). I am not available for general electrical work such as extra points. With scheduled power cuts happening soon in Waitarere, and in case of loss of power at any time, have you considered having your house wired so it continues to have power via a standby generator?
This isn't a big job, particularly if you have a newer switchboard. A 2-3 kilowatt generator is all that is required to keep essential appliances running, as well as your water pump.
