Operations and Project Documentation:
• Engagement and lead contact for contractor labour.
• Coordinate police vetting (as required).
• Coordinate illicit substance screening (as required and appropriate).
• Lead contact for environmental compliance.
Development, review, preparation and maintenance of project specific documentation and plans including but not limited to:
Job scope and instructions.
SSSP.
ARCP.
WorkSafe notification/s.
Permit to work.
Client details.
Emergency response plan.
• Assist with HSE related tender responses.
Audits / Inspections:
• Perform regular operational site safety audits and inspections.
Incident Investigations:
• Coordinate and facilitate incident investigations (where required) and actions responses.
Maintenance:
• Lead contact for coordinating of Hilti power tool equipment supply and maintenance.
Internal HSE Reporting and Meetings:
• Facilitate and lead monthly HSE staff meeting.
• Maintain register of HSE incidents and near misses.
• Maintain HSE risk / hazard registers.
• Communicate to management, employees and contractors (where applicable) any quality related regulatory standard, guideline and industry changes or amendments.
HSE Training and Human Resources:
• Prepare and deliver or organise HSE related training and information.
• Assist with human resource processes training, record keeping and performance management.
Set up jobs for commencement including:
Set and update the WIP program board in agreement with Managing Director.
Read & understand Job task sheets & plans.
Manage company site personnel & subcontractors on job sites.
Confirm job programs with the client or contractor.
Arrange services disconnections and mark outs if required.
Arrange subcontractors (if any) including concrete saw cutting and drilling, asphalt paving, painted line markings, traffic control, temporary fencing, capping of drains and sewers.
Street notifications and TMP approvals with local councils (WCC, HCC, UHCC, KCDC, etc).
