This one definitely kept us busy 👀

This Decramastic roof was heavily covered in moss, so it took a couple of moss treatments and some solid mahi to get it properly cleaned and prepped before we could move forward.

Once the roof was under control, we carried out the usual restoration process — replacing damaged tiles, swapping out loose and rusted nails, treating surface rust, sealing and resurfacing the tiles, and finishing it off with fresh protective coatings.

Big turnaround on this one. From moss-covered to clean, protected, and ready for plenty more years ahead.

Nothing like a fresh coat of Karaka to bring an old iron roof back to life 👌

This one needed some solid prep before we could get colour on it. We gave it a full water blast, treated all areas of surface rust, carried out the necessary repairs, and replaced any tired fixings. Once everything was properly prepped and sealed, we applied our iron primer and finished with two coats of Karaka.

The result is a clean, sharp finish and more importantly, a roof that’s protected and ready for years of Wellington weather.

Decramastic Roof Restored & Finished in Charcoal 🖤

This roof needed a solid repair and refresh, so we carried out a full Decramastic roof restoration and finished it off in Charcoal.

The job included moss treatment and cleaning, repairing damaged and split tiles, replacing loose and rusted fixings, treating surface rust, sealing and resurfacing the tiles, and applying the final Charcoal coating to lock everything in.

A great result on this one — watertight, protected, and looking sharp for years to come.

Decramastic Roof Restoration Finished in Charcoal 🖤

This Decramastic roof was showing the usual signs of wear, so the team carried out a full restoration to bring it back to its best.

The process included moss treatment and a thorough clean, replacing damaged and split tiles, swapping out loose and rusted nails, treating surface rust, replacing over 50 metres of broken roofing battens, sealing and resurfacing the tiles, and finishing with a fresh Charcoal coating.

A tidy result and another roof protected and looking sharp for years to come.

We’re Back and Into 2026 🔨

We’re up and running for 2026 and kicked things off by switching it up with a full reroof on this one. The old iron had reached the end of its life — rusted, peeling, and well overdue for replacement.

We stripped it back and installed brand new long-run iron in Karaka, giving the home a clean, modern look and long-term protection from the elements.

Always good starting the year with a job like this — solid, tidy, and built to last.

Another Decramastic Roof Ticked Off as We Push Toward Christmas 🎄

This Decramastic roof has just been completed and finished in a sharp Ebony colour — another solid result as we keep things moving in the lead-up to Christmas.

The roof went through our full restoration process: moss treated and cleaned, damaged tiles repaired and replaced, loose and rusted nails changed out, surface rust treated, then sealed and resurfaced before applying the final Ebony coats.

Always satisfying seeing these roofs come together, especially at this busy time of year.

Old Iron Roof, Fresh New Look in Titania

This older iron roof was well overdue for some attention, so the team got stuck in and gave it a full restoration.

We carried out a full rescrew to replace the old fixings, water blasted the roof to properly clean and prep the surface, treated all areas of surface rust, then primed and painted the roof in Titania to finish it off.

The result is a clean, durable finish that’s ready to handle years of weather ahead.

December’s Rolling! Another Roof Restored ✔️
Kicking off the month by sharing a job we wrapped up last week — a full Decramastic roof restoration finished in Ironsand, and we’re stoked with how clean and fresh this one turned out 👌
Our process included:

• Two top coats in Ironsand to bring it back to life

Wrapping Up the Month with a Commercial Roof Restoration in Titania 🏢

We finished the month strong with this big commercial roof project! The roof had a few problem areas — leaks, rust, and years of weather wear — but our team got stuck in and brought it back to life.

We started by giving the roof a thorough clean and treating all areas of surface rust to stop it from spreading. Once prepped, we fixed the leaks, replaced any failing fasteners, and applied our iron primer to seal and protect the surface.

To finish, we coated the roof in Titania, giving it a clean, modern look and long-lasting protection 👌

💪 One Massive Roof Project — Iron + Butynol Restoration Complete!

This one was a mission from start to finish, but the results made it all worth it. We tackled two very different roof types on this property, and both came up great.

Part 1: Iron Roof
This section took some serious time and elbow grease — two full days just to clean and rust treat the surface. From there, we:
✅ Carried out a full rescrew (over 1,000 screws!) to replace old rusted lead nails
✅ Replaced perforated sheets where required
✅ Primed the roof with our anti-corrosion iron primer
✅ Finished with two coats of Slate for a sharp, long-lasting finish

Part 2: Butynol Roof
The flat Butynol section had seen better days — lifting and leaking in several areas. We stripped it back and replaced it using the Chevaline Dexx Roofing System from our mates at Equus 👏

Big effort all around on this one, and a huge thanks to our clients for trusting us with such a major project!

🏡 From Faded to Fresh — Charcoal Never Misses!

This one came up great! The roof had definitely seen better days, but after a full restoration, it’s looking sharp again and ready to handle whatever the weather throws at it.

Here’s what we did 👇
✅ Moss and lichen treatment to kill off all the growth
✅ Soft washed the roof to clean and prep the surface
✅ Replaced damaged and split tiles to keep it watertight
✅ Removed loose and rusted nails, replacing them with new screws
✅ Treated surface rust to stop further damage
✅ Sealed and resurfaced the tiles
✅ Finished with two coats of premium roof coating in Charcoal

Always satisfying seeing the difference once that topcoat goes on — fresh, durable, and watertight again!

🌦️ Finally a Break in What’s Been a Tough Spring!

It’s been a tricky few weeks battling the rain and wind, but we finally got some sunlight and made the most of it! This Decramastic roof was looking pretty worn, but after some solid work, it’s now looking fresh and protected in Iron Sand.

Here’s what the team tackled 👇
✅ Moss and lichen treatment to kill off all the growth
✅ Soft washed the roof to clean and prep the surface
✅ Replaced split and damaged tiles to keep it watertight
✅ Swapped out loose and rusted nails for new screws
✅ Treated surface rust to stop it spreading
✅ Sealed and resurfaced the tiles before coating with two fresh layers in Iron Sand
