Training for when things don’t go to plan.

Last weekend some of our team completed confined space entry training, covering the situations they can encounter when working in manholes and other tight spaces.

Confined spaces can present serious hazards, including noxious fumes and gases. It’s why our crews train not only to enter and work in these spaces, but also to respond quickly and extract someone safely if there’s an emergency.

It’s the sort of training you hope you never need to put into practice, but when you’re working underground, being prepared matters.

Good work to the team for putting in the time.
