A lot of the work we do at LB White happens quietly.

We are looking for an Office Support Worker to work part-time between two well established plumbing companies. One based in Lower Hutt and the other based in Ngauranga.

Hours are flexible, ideally 5 hours a day, 4 days a week, 20 hours per week total (2 days at each office).

Would suit a stay at home parent looking to get back into the workforce.

• Competitive wage.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Answering incoming calls
• Liaising with staff, customers, property managers, tenants, etc
• Monitoring email inbox
• Scheduling trades calendars

L B White will be closing the workshop from 5pm Tuesday until Mondyay in line with the government recommendations in regard to the Covid-19 Alert level increase. As plumbing is classed as an essential service, we will stay open for business but at a reduced capacity dealing with any jobs that are needed to immediately maintain human health and safety at work or home (e.g. water including hot water, sanitary waste and gas). This also includes any jobs involving fast-moving consumer goods, food production, key public services, health services or emergency services. All other jobs will be postponed until the alert level is reduced or the problem worsens.

We will be contactable via phone or email during this time to answer any issues that arise and will be using our discretion as to what jobs we can do during this time. Please do not be offended if your job is not deemed as essential at this time or that we will be asking questions regarding your contact with Covid as we are only following government recommendations on how to keep our staff and yourselves safe. When our staff are on site, we ask that you be in a separate room to where we are working and keeping a 2m distance at all times. It would be greatly appreciated if our staff could have access to wash their hands upon arrival and exit of the job.
