Do you want flexibility in your work...

We are looking for a new team member to work every Saturday and full time during the school holidays, to assist with our property washes. The role includes washing buildings, water blasting walking surfaces and clearing gutters and drains.
If you are reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and have an eye for detail we would love to hear from you.
Renumeration will be based on experience. Full training and PPE gear can be provided. We have plenty of other soft/hard landscaping, lawn mowing, tree work, property maintenance options if you require more hours.

Start date is 9/7/22.

With the price of fruit and vegetables going up, why not turn your garden into a mini supermarket? Prepare your garden NOW so it can produce more fruit and vegetable in the months, and years to come!

Autumn is the perfect time to Plant fruit trees. Feijoa's and Fig's are in season now and its nice knowing I can restock the fruit bowl every morning from my own garden (although they do disappear just as quick!)

Planting your Autumn vegetables means you can prepare your own salad straight from your garden too! Autumn is the perfect time to grow vegetables such as lettuce, rocket, spinach and radishes.

Did you know radishes are one of the most fastest vegetables you can grow, they can mature in just 4 -6 weeks!

And why not plant that pear tree now too when you have a chance, it may take 3-4 years from now for you to benefit from it, but pear is also a very delicious addition to an Autumn salad!🍐

Come work with us here at Handy Guys, a full time role is available now!

We are searching for a reliable Gardener to maintain our clients gardens around the Wellington Region. You will be responsible for all general maintenance tasks related to gardening including planting new trees/plants, conducting regular pruning and pest control, hedge & tree maintenance, and general garden tidy ups.

To succeed in this role, you need to be physically fit and the ideal candidate will be friendly, trustworthy and reliable.

If you have the following experience or confident you can learn these skills quickly, we would like to speak with you today!

- At least 1 years proven experience in a gardening role.

- Ability to handle a range of horticultural powered/petrol hand tools.

- In-depth knowledge of plants, pests and gardening techniques.

- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

NOW is also the perfect time to trim your hedges. Trimming new growth helps to maintain a lush, dense wall of greenery 🌿

SPRING is a great time for planting, with the extra daylight hours and more sun ☀️ helping to warm up the soil, therefore better conditions for plants to establish themselves! The odd downpour of rain helps too, saving you time to keep them well watered!

Are you proficient in using chainsaws, pole saws, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, water blasters, w**d eaters, ladders, blowers etc.. We have an full time opportunity for the right applicant. Tuesday - Saturday work. Please DONT apply if you are unable to work Saturdays.

Living Wage paid.

Training, PPE gear provided, but previous experience would be a major advantage. Must be physically fit and healthy and be able to work in all types of weather.
