Our office team, as well as a couple of teams on gumboot safe sites, are proudly donning their gumboots in support of Gumboot Friday today!
Since 2019, Gumboot Friday has provided more than 100,000 therapy sessions to young kiwis ages 5-25. We are showing our support to such a crucial and life saving cause to keep the conversation going.
We would also like to take this opportunity to recognise November being Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental health is a difficult thing to talk about, particularly in the male dominated construction and earthworks industries. As a company, we are continuously taking steps to make mental health less taboo and easier to talk about, so that our team don't feel isolated if and when they face mental health challenges. A more recent step we took was partnering with ; providing our entire team with access to the resources they need to be able to take charge of their mental health & wellbeing. Clearhead provides confidential support with access to therapy if needed, along with many resources ranging from mental health support, to addiction support, and financial support.
