I was given the chance to design and build this pergola for a great family in Maketu, which was a fantastic opportunity. Creating and constructing this style of structure is a rare occurrence, making it a great conclusion to the year. The trusses are built from Macrocarpa, the Sarking is Tasmanian Blackwood, and the decking is 140 wide Kwila.

We found a clear weather window for a week and sorted it for them.
