It's a full day's work to properly clean, check, adjust, l**e and store the Inagra wrapper for winter. Its under its blankets now for winter hibernation. That's the last of our equipment cleaned, serviced and stored. Now to get one of the tractors sorted with its numerous issues.

Lets do the right thing and keep plastic out of landfills and off our properties!

BT Contracting is working with Living Rural Pauatahanui to provide a recycling service for used mini bale haylage wrap. NexPlastx will provide the recycling process. BT Contracting will collect used wrap as we deliver bales and Living Rural will be a collection point.

Used wrap must be clean (not muddy), well shaken and clear of debris. No twine or other plastics can be included.

A small $0.25c per bale recycling fee will be applied to our bales to cover the ongoing costs associated with collecting and recycling the used wrap.

Lets do the right thing and recycle used wrap into useful items! It's a win for the environment and a win for our properties!

Another 15t Hummel trailer leaves us on its way to its new owner near Oamaru. Good stocks of trailers remain but get in quick to avoid price rises associated with shipping.

Unloaded 12 tonnes of Rapid Lime this morning. We no longer spread the product but we do source the 1 tonne bulk bags for our customers who spread it themselves. Get in touch if you would like to be in the next order from the factory in Waipukurau.

Another 12 tonne Hummel trailer on its way to the deep south. On the ferry this evening and travelling south soon after it arrives in Picton. Peter Guntrip certainly assembled an interesting load of trailers for this trip!
