Massive morning for our apprentice Kaelan, who competed in the 2026 Apprentice of the Year competition for the Taranaki–Whanganui region.

It takes a lot to step outside your comfort zone and put yourself up against others in your field, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort Kaelan put in today. He showcased his skills, knowledge, and craftsmanship throughout the build, and did both himself and our team proud. 🙌🏼

Epic mahi, Kaelan! Now the waiting game begins as we await the results. 🤞🏼🏆

It was an honour to support Felicity Wallace at the recent Te Kāhui Whaihanga / New Zealand Institute of Architects regional awards.

Felicity was recognised with the Small Project Architecture Award for the transformation of her garage into a beautifully designed personal studio, as well as the Resene Colour Award. To top it all off, she also received the President’s Award in recognition of her contribution to the architectural profession.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of bringing this project to life and to see it recognised in such a significant way. The clever repurposing of existing materials, the seamless blend of old and new, and the thoughtful landscaping and drainage design all contributed to a truly special result.

Congratulations, Felicity, on this well-deserved recognition. It was a fantastic project to be involved in, and we’re thrilled to see it celebrated at this level.

A big day for the club tomorrow with 3 teams competing in their respective finals.

The Saracens Gold year 7/8 team play United Cc at Centennial Park at 9am.

Matt Burke Engineering p2s contest the 40 over final against rivals Renegades cc at Victoria Park 1 starting at 1230.

Richard’s Construction p3s take on Kaitoke Knightriders on Victoria Park 3 starting at 1pm.

What a debut! 🎄⚓️ 🏴‍☠️ We had an absolute blast being part of the Marton Christmas Parade for the very first time this year! Even better, we sailed away with Best Commercial Float 2025 — what a win!

Very proud to celebrate our apprentices Kaelan and Macca last night at the Master Builders Carters Apprentice of the Year, Regional Awards night for the Central North island.
Both of our boys made the top 10 out of 25 competitors. An epic achievement that is a true testament to their skill and knowledge in the building industry.
It was great to see three Marton lads in the top 10 this year proving that our small town has some talented young people making waves in the building industry. A big shout out to Jack Stantiall from M Jones Construction Ltd for taking out 2nd spot 🥈, stoked to be there to cheers your accomplishment.
Looking forward to seeing you guys continue to grow in your building careers 🔨
