Concrete tile to iron conversion completed up in Taihape

This one has been reroofed in T-Rib profile in the colour Ironsand, supplied by Metalcraft, with the existing chimney also removed as part of the job.

There was plenty of detailed flashing work involved, particularly around all the hip-to-gable junctions. We also opted for Tuituft sheeting between the aprons and barges at these junctions, giving a great contrast against the Ironsand roof.

What a transformation on this homestead!

We removed the old corrugated iron and replaced it with T-Rib profiled iron in Permagreen, supplied by Metalcraft. It’s amazing what a new roof can do—not only does it freshen up the look of a home, but it’s built to protect it for many years to come.

Re-roof recently completed in Mist Green, supplied by Metalcraft.

As part of this job, we lined the internal gutter and the small flat area over the entranceway with TPO membrane. It’s a more suitable and reliable option for flat and low-pitch areas, offering great waterproofing performance and excellent UV resistance.

We also installed a rain head at the end of the internal gutter, creating a larger collection point for water and helping to reduce the chances of the dropper backing up.

A tidy upgrade that’s built to handle the weather for years to come.

Re-roof recently completed in Mist Green, supplied by Metalcraft.
