“Bak to Back Decorators did an outstanding job on our interior painting! The team was professional, on time, and paid great attention to detail. Everything was prepped and cleaned up perfectly, and the final result looks flawless. The colors are beautiful and the finish is top-notch. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality and reliable painters!”

These 2 spend more time together than they do with their wives..

A little appreciation post for our right-hand man, Matt 👏

Before making the questionable decision to swap the tool belt for a paint brush, Matt spent over 10 years as a qualified builder - and luckily for us, he’s turned out to be bloody good at painting too.

He’s reliable, knows his stuff, and is a massive part of what keeps Bak to Back ticking along.

When you work this closely together, good communication, trust and being able to have a laugh along the way is key. These two have built a pretty solid working relationship over the years - and being good mates outside of work makes it even better.

Cheers for your mahi mate 🍻

Ps, clean the van ! 🧼

A recently completed commercial project consisting of six individual office spaces + workshops/garages.

Our team completed the interior including polyurethane coatings to the feature plywood, along with painting to selected walls, ceilings, kitchens and bathrooms.

The combination of clear-finished ply, polished concrete and darker features has come together really well.

Thanks to the team at Affordable Sheds for having us on board.

Pleasure to be working alongside another local solid building company.

We’re absolutely stoked with our results at the Master Painters Awards held in Christchurch over the weekend!

For our first year entering, we came away with GOLD medals for both of our entries, with one of them also taking out the overall category win! 🥇🏆

Pretty bloody proud of what we’ve achieved. To enter for the first time, put two projects forward and walk away with two Golds and an overall category win is something pretty special.

This is a massive result for us and it’s such a nice feeling to be recognised at this level.

Thanks to our team for your hard mahi and to our clients for trusting us with your projects.

Cheers 🍻

This month marks 7 years operating Bak to Back and we’re extremely proud of our growth and what we’ve achieved with having 2 little people in tow along for the ride.

It’s a seriously tough gig running a business and more times than once, we’ve questioned our sanity. 🤭🎢

We’d like to take the chance to thank our team and our clients that keep the wheels moving and appreciate all the support we’ve received over the years.
