The forests we established here in the 1990s are now harvesting, and as we replant the second rotation crop, we aim to inspire the next generation of forestry investors. It’s natural that some things will have changed over the decades. Forestry’s contribution to the economy and its role in our environment has never been as significant as it is now. And wood’s natural and sustainable attributes are receiving the social and political profile they deserve. We have welcomed the improved standards of New Zealand’s robust financial markets and workplace health and safety regimes. But, thankfully, some things haven’t changed. We’re still proudly based in Masterton, and from here managing 20,000+ hectares of forest for 6,500 individual investors, most of whom are New Zealanders.
