Forest Enterprises

We help investors grow their wealth through affordable direct investments in some of New Zealand’s most exceptional radiata pine forests For fifty years, we have been helping people grow their wealth through investments in sustainable New Zealand forestry. When our business was established in 1972, our mission was the same then as it is today: maximise returns to our investors by prudently and sustainably managing their Radiata pine forest and their investment. Focusing on what we do well – this unique combination of forestry management, investment administration and log harvest and marketing – has made us one of New Zealand’s leading forestry investment companies. Our investors’ forests in the Wairarapa, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay regions are among the country’s best. The forests we established here in the 1990s are now harvesting, and as we replant the second rotation crop, we aim to inspire the next generation of forestry investors. It’s natural that some things will have changed over the decades. Forestry’s contribution to the economy and its role in our environment has never been as significant as it is now. And wood’s natural and sustainable attributes are receiving the social and political profile they deserve. We have welcomed the improved standards of New Zealand’s robust financial markets and workplace health and safety regimes. But, thankfully, some things haven’t changed. We’re still proudly based in Masterton, and from here managing 20,000+ hectares of forest for 6,500 individual investors, most of whom are New Zealanders. We still embrace innovation and talent to enable our business. And our commitment to professionally serving our clients remains as steadfast as ever. Forest Enterprises is the business name of Forest Enterprises Growth Limited and its subsidiary Forest Enterprises Limited. Forest Enterprises Limited is licensed under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 to manage Managed Investment Schemes (excluding managed funds) which are primarily invested in forestry assets.
