Some after images and the house before we started this villa restoration project - This villa had so much potential but a flat roof extension at the rear was leaking, there was no view out to the vineyards, the flow was wrong and the interiors were past their used by date. We knocked down the leaky add-on and extended the house to provide a better, more cohesive living space with views out to the vineyards and access to the outdoor spaces, better flow throughout the house, a new boot room/laundry, powder room and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Stay tuned for more before and afters.

Wairarapa has a lot of lovely old homes with kitchens tucked into the wrong corner or a dodgy lean-to - small, dark, and a long way from where everyone wants to be. Moving a kitchen or extending the house sounds drastic, but it's often the single change that transforms a whole house.

Some of the best conversations in Martinborough happen in a cellar door. This is where a w**ery shares itself - their w**e, story, place, and people. We've designed five in Martinborough: Palliser Estate, Luna Estate, Nga Waka, Moy Hall and Poppies.
Each of them came to us with something different in mind - a certain way of making w**e and a unique feeling they wanted to create when people walked in. Our job was to design a building that fitted with each brief and as you can see they all do that in different ways.

A fantastic Collaboration with Bridget Foley Design and Scotty's Construction Wellington & Wairarapa recognised by Resene this week.

When the owners of this much-loved bungalow began their renovation journey, they had one clear request for interior designer Bridget Foley… “a surprise in every room”.

This is good news for local our construction industry.

Council has come up with a plan to get new builds moving while it works on increasing capacity for Martinborough’s wastewater plant.
