Courier Pricing Update
We have been advised by our logistics company that increased prices will kick in next month. Further our suppliers are advising increased freight prices.
So - just letting you know we (and you) haven't been hit yet - but it is coming and there will be a long tail.
In the meantime, many thanks for your continued business while the entire world navigates this crisis.

After a long, long wait (and a misunderstanding because I thought they weren't going to be imported any more) BRAZIL ALTA MOGIANA and BRAZIL SANTOS are back in stock!

For those who ordered over the weekend, there was no pick up yesterday due to the poor weather conditions. Should all be back to normal today.
Hope everyone is ok with this weather bomb.

Given we simply cannot get Brazil Mogiana or Santos right now - we've sourced some new ones and refreshed the Ibiraci Peaberry and Lucia Maria Da Silva Dias stocks. Another two Brazils expected in the next couple of days.
The new Colombia microlot we've just got in looks yummy with a score of 87, and there's also a new Peru Organic.
Enjoy!

Molasses, cocoa powder, mandarin, apricot.

We will shortly be removing Paypal as a payment option sorry. The banks are starting to charge up to 2% MORE per credit card transaction as they are perceived to be overseas purchases. :-(

With the severe weather warnings in the Wairarapa and Wellington regions in place, there is no postal service today sorry. Also, there will likely be a knock on effect to deliveries already on the way, and to those going out tomorrow. Accordingly, sorry to say, your parcels may be a day late this week.

Otherwise, thus far we're ok for those that may be concerned. The wind was awful on Tuesday and forecast to be worse today. My biggest concern is the fruit trees surviving this. We'll see what happens.

We have some old favourites returning.

First the Ethiopia Limu Kossa new season has finally arrived!

Second, any day now we will have Colombia Popayan Reserve, plus it's sugar cane decaffeinated version, back in stock.

Looking forward to putting these old friends back in the Behmor!

Mandarin, peach, bergamot, black tea

We've done some restocking in the last week - still waiting on the Ethiopia Limu Kossa - but everything else that's available is restocked.
Also some new coffees to play with. Hope to get some photos done this week. Two more Ethiopians to load up as well.

Oh thank goodness! Will take awhile to filter through to us, but, thank goodness. Long may it last.
If these higher prices got through to the producers I'd be much happier, but I have a real issue with the price being a future's market thing.

Our latest stock is arriving and the prices have jumped yet again. It's so shocking how quickly they are rising - and every new order is a higher price again.
The only remaining stock we have under $30 per kg is PNG Kongo and Mexico San Fernando.
It seems like just yesterday that we were able to offer Brazils for under $10 per kg. 😔

Message from our logistics company:
Due to severe weather warnings currently in place for parts of Aotearoa, we would like to inform our customers to expect potential delays in parcel and mail deliveries.

Heavy rain and flooding are affecting parts of the lower North Island and the South Island. Rural deliveries in regions such as the East Coast and Canterbury may experience minor delays. Our delivery teams will continue to operate where it is safe to do so, and we are monitoring the situation closely to ensure safety and service continuity.

Additionally, ferry services between the North and South Islands have been cancelled from 8:30pm on Wednesday 30 April due to forecasted heavy swells. As a result, inter-island Economy parcel deliveries may be delayed by up to 2 working days. We have contingency plans in place and will resume moving parcels as soon as ferry services recommence.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Updates will be provided as conditions change.

Coffee Prices
You will have heard about (and noticed) coffee prices steadily increasing. Naturally this makes it more challenging to keep our offerings to you at a "good bang for buck". We've had to reduce our stock range considerably as some of the more interesting coffees are beyond most people's budgets.
South American coffees seem to be going insane (likely to some bad seasons impacting the futures markets).
We are not getting any Colombian Popayan this season - the prices are too crazy.
Further, our latest Brazil shipment has increased around $4 per/kg in our cost price! I understand the next shipment will be even more expensive.
Our cheapest coffees will, for now, be Ethiopia Limu Kossa, Guatemala Santa Rosa (getting more stock soon), Honduras Intibuca (no more stock available), Kenya AB and PNG Kongo.
