Every good shepherd’s hut needs a decent set of front steps and we’ve made these steps are from some recycled cattle yards. The timber is an Australian hardwood called Jarrah, it’s an incredibly strong timber and these steps will last a lifetime.

It’s time to finish the floor of our shepherds hut. The floorboards are over 100 years old and are recycled Rimu sarking from an old villa.

Our shepherds hut is on the move. We’ve been working away finishing small details in the interior and this build is nearly complete. In 5 days time this shepherds hut will move by hiab to its new home.

We have had a new delivery here at Willowbrook Shepherd Huts and this time it’s a fancy micro flush toilet that we have ordered a few months ago. It is a great addition to the shepherds hut, eco friendly with its water use and a great quality product.

The kitchen in my shepherds hut needed a traditional plate rack so I made one from some recycled cedar weatherboards.
