KB Contractors LTD Trenchless Technology Experts KB Contractors was created by Kelvin Read and Brent Reid in 1985. We specialise in trench less technology.

Using thrust boring equipment, directional drills, pipe ramming and bursting. As our company has grown and with increased demand, we have moved forward purchasing many other plant items to include conventional excavation equipment. KB Contractors maintain a staff level of around 50 to 60 staff experienced and competent personnel to carry out all of the above operations.

A couple of successful pipe rams under State Highway 6 as part of the Upper Clutha Waste Water Conveyance Scheme, with both a 600NB & 450NB steel sleeve being installed. Great effort lads.
