❄️ Winter can put extra pressure on your home's electrical system.

As heaters, heat pumps, dryers and other appliances work harder, small electrical issues can become bigger (and more expensive) problems if left unchecked.

Keep an eye out for:

Switchboard upgrade – Onehunga

Mitch & Pete recently completed this switchboard upgrade for a home in Onehunga.

Upgrading older switchboards improves electrical safety, makes the system more homeowner-friendly, and gives the installation a much cleaner, modern finish.

New Vector connection and meter installation sorted for a communal driveway lighting and gate power setup.

We worked alongside one of our trusted building partners to get a 2m mounting wall built, then installed the meter box and mini distribution board to safely power shared lighting and automated gate access.

A tidy solution for a shared space that needed reliable power 👍

It’s with great sadness that we share the passing of our founder, Phil Hall, in September 2025.

Phil built Hall Electrical from the ground up back in 1989, and his values of honesty, hard work, and genuine care for people have shaped every part of the business since.

Phil was more than our founder - he was a husband, dad, granddad, and friend to so many. His legacy lives on through the family, our incredible team, and every job done with pride and integrity.
