Deborah wanted more privacy from passing foot traffic. We took out the trellis fence and replaced with 1.8m tall colour steel with a key lockable gate latch.

We did wipe the entire fence down after the video and I regret not doing that before making the video. At the time, I was more interested in getting a video of the gate latch.

This is a combination of 1.5m and 1.8m tall PVC fence. The trellis section certainly makes this a pretty fence to view. I took a few pictures at dusk as we were still working and the rays of light were quite striking.

This is a new build that needed colour steel gates to separate the back garden from the front. We also built a short fence and a pair of gates at the entrance.

Jeremy had a porch he wanted to tile. We helped clear the way and what lovely tiles he has now!

We turned a mud track into a metal track that even our little truck could drive up. These tipper trucks are terrible on anything other than tar seal so it is always an achievement if we can get up a steel loose stone track.

As part of the job we installed a culvert to allow water to flow under the track to a side channel where it can disperse without issue.

The geofabric helps ensure the stones don't just get pushed into the clay every time it rains.

We found a skink in the truck. I know some people will say they are common but I've been in New Zealand for 16 years and this is the first time I saw one. So they are not that common. A rare treat to see one.

3% black oxide driveway. It will lighten up to create a slightly pale blue concrete. Plane concrete is quite a bright white that can be quite jarring on the eye especially when the area is quite large.

We used the motorised trowel on this job to help compact the top layer of concrete and create a stronger finish.

We've got a great team helping us with our tree cutting. Truly a pleasure to watch as they masterfully take out big trees without damaging anything around them. Everything is properly cleaned up afterwards as well. Let me know if you want a quote to take out your trees.

We have now put the 8mm polycarbonate sheets on the roof of the pergola. Almost invisible. The desired result.
