Job done…

The farm house is complete and now being enjoyed by Duncan, Brigid and their wider fur family. This one comprised of two separate builds the first of which being the garage / cottage. Once everyone got used to living in 50 sq m having left 250 sq m we embarked on the main house. Add in the new vineyard and this is truly the lifestyle dream. DWL’s second project with these friends and as always it’s been a blast.

A lot to Juggle…

Multiple sites on the go at various stages means there’s a lot of balls in the air. From finishing touches to electrical plans, drainage, floor slab construction and even early stage planning for the next sites it takes a lot of project management. DWL plan plan and plan some more while the dedicated team of trades bring each build to life. All this plus having to wrap up for the early morning cold starts. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

We love celebrating any achievement at DWL and this little guy is no exception. Although he appears confused about all the attention and treats, we appreciate all the love and support from everyone who has a soft spot for G Dog

Handover…

It’s no secret that things don’t always go to plan in the construction industry. What’s important for the DWL team is to deliver exactly what the client wanted regardless of hiccups along the way. We’ve now handed over this beautiful new home to Neville & Linda and thank you both for working along side us at DWL. It’s been a pleasure.

I’m Gordon, but most people know me as G Dog 😎 I’ve been a Napier local for 7.5 years now and I’ve fully committed to my role as a certified man about town.

I enjoy the finer things in life: cafés, bars, and anywhere I can casually deploy my charm until someone decides I absolutely deserve a treat. It’s not manipulation, it’s networking.

Walks are an important part of my social schedule. I use them to catch up with my mates, check my “wee mails”, and attend to the usual duties of a dog.

Over the years I’ve built a very solid local following on my walks. Some of my human friends even come prepared with treats “just in case” we cross paths. I respect that level of devotion to yours truly.

My daily routine is simple: food, people, more food. But as long as I’m with my people, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Meant to be …

The section was purchased and the plan drawn for this house in Parklands. Then along game our client with their own plan / ideas so now we’re building their home not our house. A client that has worked with DWL from the start proving our ties and loyalty run deep. After 20 plus years in their current home we couldn’t be prouder to work with them on their next chapter.

Part of the Process…

Our clients are as busy as us and with their new build sites buzzing with tradies during the week DWL reserves Saturday mornings for the all important client walk arounds. That said it’s always coffee first and then a good opportunity to talk build progress, timelines, changes or just show off the good work done by the team. We believe the journeys important and client input is critical to the process.
