Remembering Niko — 10 Years On - 22 August 2016
Today marks 10 years since we lost our workmate and colleague, Niko Brooking-Hodgson.
Ten years may have passed, but Niko has not been forgotten. Those who worked alongside him still remember the young man, the workmate and the mate he was.
Today, our thoughts are with Niko’s family, friends and everyone whose lives he touched.
Gone, but never forgotten by his DGL workmates and colleagues.
Rest easy, Niko.

Crew Foreman -
We are seeking a hands-on, safety driven Crew Foreman to manage all aspects of a forest harvesting operation. You will be working alongside the crew while managing site safety, daily machine maintenance and crew documentation.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and clear communication skills, forestry experience and be safety driven.

Swing Yarder Operator -
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Swing Yarder Operator to join our crew.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, reliability and be a positive team player.

We offer long-term job security with ongoing work across the Hawkes Bay.

Applicants must be drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment medical check.

Today marks 10 years since we lost a valued member of our team – Blair Palmer (Crew 65 Foreman)
We take this moment to remember not just a colleague, but a friend, father, foreman - whose presence, dedication, and character left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. His memory continues to be part of who DGL is as a business and a team.
We honour his legacy by recommitting ourselves today to the safety, care, and wellbeing of our people.
Our thoughts are with Cush, Josh, Matt & their families, friends & his forestry family and all those who still feel Blair’s absence.
