From dark and drab to light and airy.

This extensive Internal Alteration included a whole house make over, changing the configuration of the rooms and capturing light and views.

These before and after shots were the pick of the bunch, capturing the home being bought from the 70’s into today.

This kitchen was closed off and felt heavy and cramped, but with the wall removed and a fresh palette, it finally feels like the heart of the home.

Mies van der Rohe is a legendary architect; all his buildings that I have seen are elegant yet simple. Here is another classic example.

Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1956, the refined minimalism of Crown Hall prompted Time Magazine to call it "one of the world's most influential, inspiring and astonishing structures." Located on the IIT campus in Chicago, Crown Hall has been designated a National Historic Landmark. We started with an empty site and created this modern home, defined by a bold gable and soaring glazing that captures the view and light.

A great site visit with the ladies at NAWIC!! Thank you to Stead Construction & PanPac for hosting.

It was interesting to see mass timber construction in place & hear about the construction methodology installing these finished products.

It was great to see design thinking around future flood resilience, business & community support.

Congratulations to all those involved.
