Congratulations Josh!

After 4.5 years with the Freenergy team, Josh has officially completed his electrical apprenticeship. We couldn't be prouder.

Josh has built excellent hands-on experience across solar and battery storage installations, and this qualification is a well-earned milestone.

Midwinter install day on a rural Hawke's Bay farm. Crisp southerly, clear blue skies, and plenty of winter sun for solar generation.

The crew made the most of a country job too. Norman, Kees, Matt and the team were treated to a three course lunch by the client. A big thank you to the client for feeding the crew so well. 😄

37.5kW of solar. 54kWh of battery. Over 90% of a Central Hawke's Bay farm's annual power covered.

This rural install combined 23.5kW of all-black panels on a farm building roof with a 14kW ground mount, designed and built entirely by the Freenergy team. The system runs three farm homes, multiple sheds, pumping, and more.

Panels are 640W dual-glass bifacial commercial panels with a 30-year warranty, all sourced through New Zealand distributors.
