Good news for anyone with a Powerwall 2.

A recent Tesla software update means you can now add a Powerwall 3 to your existing setup without replacing the hardware you already own. So if your energy use has grown, an EV in the driveway, a heat pump, a pool, more people at home, more machinery on site, you can build on what you've got.

The benefits speak for themselves. More solar stored for later, longer backup during a power cut, and room to grow as your energy needs change.
