Another Ecodome project well underway! 👏

Great work from the team at Reliable Foundations New Zealand LTD (RFL), who are making excellent progress on the foundation works for TW Construction Company.

It’s always good to see Ecodome in the hands of an experienced installation team — pods going down, steel following and the foundations taking shape ready for concrete.

Thanks to the RFL team for the great work on site and to TW Group for their continued support of Ecodome.

Plenty happening on this one — looking forward to seeing the development take shape! 🏠

The most permanent decision on a project is usually the one nobody sees.

Everything above the slab will change during a building's life.

Finishes will be updated. Services upgraded. Roofs replaced.

The foundation beneath it probably won't.

That makes the foundation one of the most important sustainability decisions on any project.

We're proud to be involved in the rebuild of the Shirley Community Centre in Christchurch, working alongside Brosnan Construction and BG&E to supply an Ecodome foundation system, manufactured in New Zealand from 100% recycled plastic.

When a building is designed to serve its community for generations, the choices beneath it matter just as much as those above it.

Perhaps the most sustainable decisions aren't always the most visible—they're the ones that stand the test of time.

Great to see Ecodome forming part of Jeremy’s own home build with Notch Architecture.

When designing his own home, Jeremy was looking beyond the traditional approach and wanted a foundation solution that aligned with the values behind the project.

Being NZ-made from 100% recycled plastic, delivering near-zero site waste, providing high R-values without the use of polystyrene, and offering the design flexibility required for the project, Ecodome was an easy decision.

One of the great advantages for Jeremy working on his own build is being able to experience the entire process firsthand. Jeremy was onsite during installation, seeing the journey from initial design conversations through to delivery and working alongside the builders and our team during install.

From design and technical support through to practical onsite experience, this is what Ecodome is about — providing confidence at every stage of the build.

With breathtaking views across the valley and a truly peaceful setting, it's the kind of site that reminds you why quality design and smart construction choices matter. So when you're building in such a beautiful location, why spoil it by bringing in polystyrene?

Last week we sent Malc to Taranaki to spend the day onsite with Reliable Foundations New Zealand LTD👷‍♂️🔥

Between them, 2 green horns, 1 seasoned slab guru… and Malc 😝 the team managed to get 3 slabs podded and another 1.5 tied with steel. Not a bad day’s work!

Awesome to see the teamwork, laughs, and solid progress happening on another great project alongside Prime Designs, Profound Group 👏

Out on site with Begovich Builders Ltd, helping where it matters most. 👷‍♂️

It’s a good reminder that rising fuel prices don’t just affect what we pay at the pump, they have a flow-on effect right through the supply chain. The cost to manufacture polystyrene for example, has been heavily impacted due to the raw materials required to produce it.

Not Ecodome though, we use 100% recycled plastic sourced here in NZ from post consumer and manufacturing waste.

We’re doing our best to stay ahead, keep things moving, and support our customers with reliable solutions despite the challenges.
