We often get asked if we can create custom shelving for oddโ€‘shaped cupboards. This is a recent example โ€” custom made onsite from NZ pine slats to suit the exact shape of the space. A practical, tidy solution that turns an awkward cupboard into genuinely useful storage.

Weโ€™re often asked to replace the old shelfโ€‘andโ€‘rail setup and create a layout that actually works for a couple inside the existing space.

Walkโ€‘in pantries are another area we can help you with. This one is nearly complete โ€” weโ€™re just waiting for the flooring to go down before we finish the installation.

We turned up to install wardrobes in a home recently. The doors had already been done by someone else โ€” and the shortcuts were obvious.

They had simply cut the skirting boards and slid the doors hard up against the walls. No door jambs - Nothing to protect the walls from the doors stopping.

Even after a short time, the damage is already showing. You can see cracking around the gib screws from the gib board taking impact. The roughly cut skirting doesnโ€™t look flash either.

๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐˜… ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜„?
Install door jambs, trim the doors down to suit the new height and width, then plaster and repaint the damaged walls. All of that adds cost โ€” significantly more than doing it right from the beginning.
