A few of the team visited the newly completed TRFU & Taranaki Steelformers training facility, Te Whare Pūngao o Ngā-motu last week and got to experience the completed fit-out of this impressive new training facility.🏋

The exterior cladding is now mostly complete, with the roller doors installed and the overall build really starting to come together 👏🏻

Rachel is our Sales and Contracts Administrator

🔧 Favourite part of the job: My favourite part of the job is the design process. It’s taking a client’s ideas and requirements, often from a hand-drawn concept, and transforming them into a detailed 3D model, bringing their vision to life through to completion.

🛠️ Three words to describe herself: Determined, Adventurous and Genuine 💅

☕ Go-to smoko: Coffee… or an ice-cold Coke Zero, depending how early my day kicked off!

💬 Fun fact: I recently pushed past my fears and got my open water dive certification. Since then, I’ve been casually diving up north, swimming alongside eagle rays and huge schools of fish, and collecting pretty shells, testing my dive buddies’ patience 🐚

Rachel is the friendly face greeting you when you pop into the office so don’t be shy and come say hi 👋

This one is moving ahead nicely 👌
How goods that mountain peeping through the framing 😮‍💨

The roof is now on, and the framing is being installed between the portals which is another key stage bringing the structure to life ready for cladding to start.

With each step, the scale and layout of the build become clearer.

Plenty more progress still to come....another cracker day on site too!

👋 Meet the Team – Roger AKA our “Mr Fix it”
Roger’s our Project Manager

🔧 Favourite part of the job: It’s the variety of complex jobs for me. Every project brings something different to the table, and the challenges that come with it that push your brain, so you need to adapt, and problem solve.

🛠️ Three words to describe himself: Loyal, friendly and some would say very stubborn.

☕ Go-to smoko: No smoko just a nice piping hot cup of tea.

💬 Fun fact: Whether it’s the BBQ or the kitchen, Roger’s in his element. He loves whipping up off-the-cuff creations, typically with a gin in hand for inspiration and finds cooking to be a great way to unwind.

📍Memorable Project: This one is a hard one as every project has something memorable, but I did really enjoy the Entec project, both Stage one and two were exciting and think we should be very proud of what we achieved.
