We’re excited to welcome Baran Balaban to the Ground Up team.

With more than 20 years of international experience across New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Baran Balaban is a highly accomplished engineering and construction professional specialising in geotechnical construction and foundation systems. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered complex infrastructure, commercial, industrial and energy projects, working with globally recognised organisations.

Baran has extensive expertise in piling operations, ground improvement, complex retaining systems, slope stabilisation, load testing and geotechnical investigation services. He is a Registered Engineer with Engineering New Zealand, a Licensed Building Practitioner, and recipient of the New Zealand Building Industry 2020 James Hardie Innovation Award.
